The next era of media will have affects on the world that will have lasting implications.  People overlook the fact that the next era is happening right now. The next era is being heavily influenced by digital technology and mainstream media sees it happening.  In many ways, independent technology is changing the world.  The irony is the fact that  free expression is limited heavily in mainstream media.
